Martinique is the jewel of the Caribbean Sea. To the north, beaches are black, to the south they are golden. The Pelée mountain offers a trip to the heights, while the seabed beckons with coral reefs and exotic fish. Experience the magical, Creole atmosphere with colorful dinghies, market stalls, new scents and the rhythms of West Indian music.

Saint Lucia lies approximately in the middle of the strip of the Lesser Antilles, between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The landscape in the interior of the island is characterized by volcanoes and rocks, which are intersected by valleys where banana palms thrive. The island’s most famous volcanoes are Gros Piton and Petit Piton off Saint Lucia’s west coast south of the town of Sufrière, which are among the Caribbean’s most beautiful natural settings. In contrast to these, the island’s highest mountain, Mount Gimie at 951 metres, is still active. Several animal and bird species benefit from Saint Lucia’s lush, volcanic soil and relatively untouched forested areas. One of the more prominent residents is the multicolored amazon, one of the Eastern Caribbean’s last remaining parrot species. The green-blue-yellow-red parrot is completely unique to Saint Lucia and only exists in 300 living specimens – and in countless pictorial representations on everything from T-shirts to Saint Lucian passports.

Barbados Far out in the Caribbean Sea lies the dream island of Barbados. Travel to Barbados offers sun, salty baths, super-delicious beaches and a wonderful splendor of colour. Here are exotic places, an exciting history, a rich range of culture, sports and activities. The sea around Barbados is one of the clearest in the world and therefore perfect for diving and snorkelling, where you can see coral reefs, brightly colored fish and shipwrecks on the seabed – as well as all kinds of other water sports. The people are friendly and the climate is pleasant all year round. Barbados a pearl in the Caribbean archipelago.

Your transport

Guests pay for all transport costs themselves
back and forth to and from port of embarkation and disembarkation.

The airport on Martinique is located in the capital Fort-de-France.
We recommend that you buy tickets directly from the respective company you choose, it could be KLM or Air France. Departure airport Hamburg is often a cheaper alternative than e.g. Aalborg or Billund. Who is the cheapest depends on the date. When buying directly from the respective companies, the departure time on the ticket can usually be changed with a fee. This helps our guests during the trip, if the return date should change, e.g. if there it’s windy on an island other than Martinique. Ocean Life does not cover any costs if the flight ticket has to be changed.
